Senior Operations Engineer - Trifork Security (Aalborg)

Trifork Security is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Operations Engineer to join our team in Aalborg.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain our operational platforms, including Proxmox, Splunk, and local cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of critical IT services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Implement and maintain security best practices.
- Collaborate with other teams to support security operations.
Qualifications:
- Senior-level expertise in operating systems (Primarily Linux, and some Windows), virtualization (Proxmox), and cloud technologies.
- Experience with supporting services (Networking, IPv6, DNS, VPN, HAProxy, SAML, SSO etc.).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation, communication and collaboration skills.
Advantages:
- ITIL knowledge and/or certification
- Experience with security services (SIEM, EDR/XDR/NDR, Micro Segmentation etc.).
- Familiarity with Jira/Confluence Atlassian tools
- Knowledge of vulnerability management principles and practices.
- Splunk knowledge (administration, configuration, optimization).
- Knowledge of Fortinet, Proxmox, Minio, Illumio, Kasm, Python, Ansible and databases like Postgresql, MongoDB
