YOUR MISSION
You will work with a combination of both operational and development-oriented tasks primarily within Data Protection (GDPR) and IT-security along with implementation of NIS2 and CER.
Your primary responsibility will be to:
- Develop and maintain our GDPR framework
- Maintain our register of processing activities
- Assess possible risks of processing activities
- Review data processors and vendor due diligence
- Advise the organization on requirements from CER and NIS2 and ensuring all legal requirements are reflected in the implementation plan
- Develop the compliance program for CER and NIS2
- Develop training and awareness activities
- Advise on ad hoc questions from the organization related to the above
You will be in close sparring with your colleagues, and you will be closely linked to the business of Energi Danmark and other functions in the group.
JOIN A TEAM WITH LIKEMINDED ENERGY
You are joining a Compliance and Legal team of 6 dedicated colleagues. You are the third member of the Compliance team, but you will work closely with the Legal team of three. The Compliance and Legal teams are managed by a Group General Counsel.
On a day-to-day basis the Compliance team is making sure Energi Danmark adheres to and complies with applicable laws and regulations within energy trading including GDPR and IT-security.

You have an educational background as cand.jur. or cand.merc.jur.
You preferably have 1-2 years of experience from another company or organization working with GDPR and IT-security requirements in practice. Most importantly is that you have a great interest in compliance and the energy sector.
As a person, you are structured and thorough, and you are willing to learn and develop your skills within GDPR and IT-security.
We also hope you are:
- fluent in written and spoken English with solid communications skills
- detail-oriented and have good prioritizing skills
- proactive and independent in your approach
