We are looking for an Operational Technology (OT) Engineer with the ability to define and execute on projects and tasks across the operational organization delivering best in class enterprise standards. Our Operational Technology (OT) Engineering team is at the heart of our production facilities, ensuring the seamless design, implementation, and maintenance of critical systems and infrastructure.
From control systems and SCADA to industrial networking and process automation, our team sets the standard for 30 production sites worldwide. With a commitment to reliability, security, and efficiency, our team’s work directly protects production uptime, people, and processes—and we are excited for you to be part of this journey.
In This Role You’ll Make An Impact By
As an Operational Technology Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the OT and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platforms that drive our global operations.
You will focus on implementing cutting-edge technologies and adhering to the latest OT security standards, ensuring seamless integration with IT systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will shape technical solutions that empower efficient and sustainable production processes on a global scale.
In Addition, Your Key Tasks Will Include
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining OT and MES systems, including patching and upgrades
- Developing OT infrastructure in compliance with IEC 62443 and other security standards
- Ensuring secure integration between OT and IT systems
- Designing and maintaining our Horizon VDI platform
- Supporting seamless integration with systems such as ERP, DCS, SCADA, and PLC.
Your collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Operations, IT specialists, and Automation teams, will ensure our technology solutions meet both immediate and long-term needs.
The role is based in Denmark, so candidates from abroad must be willing to relocate to Denmark to be considered.
To Succeed You Must Hold
The ideal candidate holds a technical degree in IT or Automation Engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc.), ideally complemented by experience as an electrician or in a similar field. Preferably, you have a proven track record in designing and maintaining OT or MES systems within a manufacturing environment, but it is not a requirement.
Additionally, You Have The Following Competencies
- Familiar with Aveva System Platform / MES
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including production scheduling, quality management and inventory control
- Updated on industry regulations and compliance standards (eg. IEC 62443, ISA 95 and 88.1)
- Experience with PLC programming and OT networks is an advantage
- Fluency in Danish (spoken and written) is required, and you must also be comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing
