Information Security Specialist needed for a rapidly growing international company based in Copenhagen

We are on a high velocity growth journey! Following five strategic acquisitions, Omnidocs has more than doubled in size in 2024, growing from 80 to 170 employees and expanding across the Nordics, UK, and DACH/Benelux regions.
Thus, we are looking to expand our capabilities within information security and compliance. What we need is a knowledgeable information security specialist who can govern and successfully implement different security standards in Omnidocs. Our number one priority currently is ISO 27001.
This role will be referring to the CIO of Omnidocs and will be working closely with our IT & Security department (also under CIO).
What’s the job about?
Your most essential task is to govern and successfully drive implementation of security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIS2, SOC 2 and others. You will take on the management responsibility for our ISMS / GRC system, including audits, and ensure continuous improvement and facilitate the engagement of the rest of our organization when necessary.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure successful implementation and continuous management of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, etc.) across the organization.
- Develop, review, and maintain security policies and procedures in alignment with compliance requirements.
- Perform security monitoring, manage incidents, and respond to threats to uphold business continuity.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in processes and systems.
- Manage and maintain the ISMS/GRC system to ensure robust governance and reporting.
- Collaborate with the business to ensure adherence to security frameworks in processes and projects.
- Promote awareness and compliance and provide training and guidance on new or updated security procedures to the business.
- Ensure continuous improvement of information security operations through metrics, audits, and industry best practices. Uphold information security standards during the integration of acquired companies to ensure alignment with Omnidocs’ policies.
Who are you?
You must have several years of work experience within the field of information security, with a proven track record in successfully implementing ISO 27001 or a comparable security framework.
We imagine that you have a relevant bachelor's or master's degree, but it is not required.
Other than that you recognize yourself in the following.
- You are highly motivated, independent, and proactive.
- You have a high understanding of business operations.
- You can easily communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
- You have a comprehensive understanding of relevant information security frameworks, including their practical application.
- You are experienced in maintaining an ISMS or GRC system, ensuring effective governance and compliance.
- You excel at managing progress across diverse stakeholders, even when dealing with complex processes and changes.
- You possess a strong technical understanding and familiarity with IT, systems, and cybersecurity concepts.
- You enjoy working with colleagues and understand that work is important but should also be fun.
- You are highly organized, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively, even when facing competing demands.
- You speak and write English.
- You are able to be onsite at our office in Copenhagen at least 3 days a week.
