About the role:

Then the role as Privacy Specialist at Templafy may be the ideal opportunity for you!
The Head of Privacy will be away on maternity leave starting April 2025. Templafy is therefore looking to cover this leave for a 1-year period, with the possibility of extension.
You will be an essential part of the privacy division, which continuously ensures that both the company and the Templafy platform are enterprise grade in terms of privacy.
As the go-to person for the company’s privacy matters, you will guide all business units in privacy compliance efforts, and work closely with the Information Security, Legal, Procurement and Sales departments.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze privacy risk and compliance in the context of Templafy using GDPR methodology, including privacy impact assessments and legal basis assessments.
- Work directly with all business units to facilitate company-wide privacy compliance and mitigation of privacy risks in the company’s processes and projects.
- Identify and monitor relevant data protection and privacy laws, trends, changes and analyze their relevance to the company. Design, implement and monitor controls needed for privacy compliance.
- Enable customer-facing teams by handling privacy related queries from customers and prospects, including reviews of data processing agreements, submitting privacy questionnaires and attending client meetings.
- Facilitate procurement and partnerships with third party due diligence and data processing agreements.
- Handle queries by the company, customers and data subjects, and cooperate with supervisory authorities on request.
- Lead data breach preparedness, including thorough incident analysis, timely response and reporting commitments.
- Carry out internal and external communication about privacy values. Drive privacy awareness training among all employees.
Qualifications:
- BSc/MSc degree in law, policy, IT or related field. Equivalent professional training may be accepted.
- 2-4 years’ experience in a privacy role or a qualified lawyer specialized in data protection.
- Experience with GDPR. Solid understanding of core elements of other data protection regulation.
- Good problem-solving skills, capable of researching and analyzing information from multiple sources in the context of the company and the Templafy platform.
- Proficiency in contract reviews and detail-orientation.
- Deep sense of responsibility, service-mindedness and passionate about working with people.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and information security concepts, with SaaS knowledge being beneficial.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
