Your role in our team
As our team grows, we are looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to lead and enhance our R&D team posture and support with the execution of strategic initiatives.
You will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance and fostering professional growth. The team has a strong background in cyber and consists of 8 employees including students in Cyber and Quantum department. You will also engage with stakeholders to communicate cybersecurity risks and strategies effectively.
As our new Cybersecurity Manager, you will oversee security operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop strategies to mitigate cyber risks while leading a team of cybersecurity professionals.
How you will make a meaningful contribution
- Your key responsibilities include:
- Lead cybersecurity audits and assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending improvements
- Oversee security operations, incident response, and threat management activities
- Collaborate with product teams to secure critical infrastructure and protect against cyber threats
- Stay up to date with emerging threats, security trends, and regulatory changes
- Developing and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and frameworks to protect organizational assets
- Conducting risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for Operational Technology (OT) environments
- Working with cybersecurity regulations, standards, and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, CIS Controls)
Bring your world class expertise into play
- You are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement.
- You hold a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field of study
- Ideally, you have minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role
- You are certified in e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, GICSP, or equivalent
- You have strong expertise in cybersecurity risk management, incident response, and compliance frameworks
- You have experience working in Operational Technology (OT) environments, including ICS/SCADA security
- You have in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity tools, technologies, and best practices
You are a people manager and have excellent leadership skills. You are able to create clarity, motivation and inspire those around you to perform at their best. You excel in building strong relationships and have ability to collaborate across functional teams and senior leadership – making you a trusted partner. With strong communication skills, you engage stakeholders effectively and foster alignment and collaboration in complex environments.
