About the role
As a Technical Consultant in PA Consulting’s Defence & Security team, you will lead technology transformation projects for Danish and international clients in the defence and security sector. You’ll work with a cross‑functional team driving IT system transformation, cloud integration, cybersecurity assessments and compliance while supporting secure digital infrastructure and shaping strategies to strengthen national resilience.
Responsibilities
- Drive IT system transformation and cloud integration projects, focusing on user needs, requirements, IT architecture and sourcing.
- Perform cybersecurity assessments, develop strategies and support accreditation and implementation of secure solutions.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIS2, NATO STANAGs and NCIA requirements.
- Support secure digital infrastructure through IT process management and operations.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders across the defence and security sectors and contribute to Danish and international projects.
Qualifications
- Experience in defence or security‑critical environments.
- Background in strategic consulting, project management, transformation or technology projects.
- Familiarity with IT operations and processes, including application maintenance and development.
- Experience with IT sourcing and public procurement.
- Hands‑on IT or solution architecture expertise.
- Knowledge of cyber and IT compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, NATO STANAGs, NCIA).
- Fluency in Danish and English with strong analytical and communication skills.
