The Global Security Operations – Advanced Security Operations department is based in Digital, Data and IT in Denmark. You will be part of a global information security community with colleagues located primarily in Denmark, USA, and India. Global Information Security consists of leading experts in various areas ranging from network security, incident response, cloud security, cryptography, security operations, due diligences & integrations, to manufacturing security and security risk management and governance.
What’s the role about?
Your role will investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents in a timely manner, conducting thorough analysis to determine the root cause and impact. You will be involved in the development and maintenance of incident response documentation and playbooks, providing recommendations for enhancing security controls and mitigating potential threats, staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and threat intelligence. We are looking for experience with OT (Operational Technology) incident response to address the specific challenges and requirements of industrial control systems and operational environments.
Moreover, as our Level 3 Incident Response Analyst we want you to:
- Leading and coordinating incident response activities during security breaches or cyber-attacks, including managing communication with relevant stakeholders and overseeing the containment, eradication, and recovery efforts
- Conducting post-incident analysis and lessons learned process to document the details of security incidents, the response actions taken, and recommendations for improving future incident response procedures
- Contributing to the development and implementation of proactive security measures, including participating in security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and security awareness training for staff
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior members of the incident response team, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall capabilities of the team
Candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in incident response, security operations, or related field
- In-depth understanding of network security, malware analysis, and forensic investigation
- Familiarity with security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection and response
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant certifications such as GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) are a plus
