The position
The OSINT Analyst role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to our physical security team by leveraging open-source intelligence to combat counterfeit medicines, and other physical security threats to Novo Nordisk’s people, facilities, and medicines. As part of this dynamic and innovative team, you will play a pivotal role in investigating physical security threats, supporting due diligence activities, and shaping the development of OSINT practices across our Global Security programme.
Some of your responsibilities will be to:
- Utilize cutting-edge tools and techniques to gather critical information from publicly available sources, covering a wide array of topics such as physical security threats, pharmaceutical crimes, due diligence, and investigations.
- Analyse collected data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making. Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations to effectively share analysis with pertinent stakeholders.
- Contribute to the design and advancement of OSINT practices, playing a vital role in bolstering Novo Nordisk’s Global Security programme across product, people, and facilities security, as well as crisis management.
- Stay informed about the latest OSINT tools, techniques, and best practices, and provide mentorship and support to empower team members in the effective application of OSINT methodologies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Intelligence or a related field would be advantageous, not essential.
- OSINT certifications would be advantageous.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in OSINT analysis, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Experience with intelligence analysis tools and platforms (e.g., ShadowDragon, Maltego, Strider, Nexis Diligence).
- Experience in OSINT problem solving.

Your strong analytical thinking, paired with excellent research and data analysis capabilities, ensures that you uncover valuable insights. Proficient in OSINT tools and techniques, you adeptly leverage open-source intelligence. Your strong communication skills and foundational knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry make complex information clear and concise, fostering informed decision-making.
About the Department
The Global Intelligence team is part of Novo Nordisk’s Global Security team, and focuses on helping the company understand and navigate physical security threats, such as those linked to geopolitical risk, crisis situations, and economic espionage threats.
