As a fast-scaling startup, we’re looking for a Marketing Lead to elevate our brand presence and build a strong community around cybersecurity awareness. This role will be instrumental in crafting and communicating our story to establish Moxso as the go-to cybersecurity partner for organizations worldwide.
The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a creative and branding-focused Marketing Lead who excels at building strong, relatable brands and engaging communities on platforms like LinkedIn, who will manage a team of three colleagues to execute the marketing vision. In this role, you’ll own the development and execution of our brand strategy, creating impactful content that resonates with our target audience while driving organic growth and establishing Moxso’s thought leadership in cybersecurity. You will work closely with our sales team to align marketing efforts with revenue goals and ensure a seamless customer journey.
What You’ll Do:
- Brand Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy to enhance Moxso’s positioning in the cybersecurity space, ensuring consistency across all channels.
- LinkedIn & Community Building: Lead Moxso’s efforts on LinkedIn by empowering the entire company to engage effectively on the platform. Develop strategies and provide training, tools, and templates to help employees share thought leadership content, participate in meaningful conversations, and amplify Moxso’s brand presence across the team.
- Content Creation: Ensure the development of compelling, high-quality content—from blog posts to videos—that aligns with Moxso’s brand and messaging. Collaborate with internal teams and external contributors to identify the right content topics and formats, ensuring every piece effectively resonates with our target audience.
- Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with the sales team to develop marketing initiatives that generate high-quality leads, support deal closure, and align messaging across marketing and sales efforts.
- Storytelling: Work closely with the team to distill technical concepts into relatable, human-centered narratives that communicate Moxso’s mission and value proposition.
- Collaborative Leadership: Partner with sales and product teams to align messaging and ensure brand consistency across the customer journey, while mentoring junior team members or external contributors Oversee and mentor a team of three marketing colleagues, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Thought Leadership: Position Moxso as a trusted voice in cybersecurity by identifying opportunities for speaking engagements, partnerships, and collaborations.
Who You Are:
- Brand Builder: Proven experience in creating and scaling brand strategies that resonate with B2B audiences, particularly in tech or SaaS.
- Sales-Oriented Marketer: Strong ability to align closely with sales teams, with a focus on creating marketing initiatives that directly support revenue generation and deal acceleration.
- LinkedIn Pro: Skilled at growing organic engagement and building communities on LinkedIn, with a strong understanding of how to use the platform effectively for thought leadership and brand awareness.
- Content Creator: A natural storyteller with experience creating diverse forms of content, including written, visual, and video, tailored to different audiences.
- Strategic Thinker: Capable of aligning brand initiatives with business goals to support long-term growth.
- Collaborator: A team player who thrives in cross-functional roles, working seamlessly with sales, product, and leadership teams.
- Growth Minded: Eager to experiment, iterate, and find innovative ways to grow Moxso’s brand and community presence.
- SaaS and Cybersecurity Experience Preferred: Familiarity with B2B SaaS or a willingness to learn about cybersecurity is a plus.
