Freelance IT-Security Consultant
Are you passionate about IT security and eager to make a difference in a dynamic and impactful organization? We're looking for an experienced IT Security Consultant to join a forward-thinking team and play a key role in shaping security practices and supporting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for support functions and processes, providing professional, consultative assistance.
- Advocate for security best practices, fostering a mindset of security by design across the organization.
- Advise on security controls, policies, and risk mitigations for diverse technologies.
- Contribute to the design of future security architecture roadmaps.
- Enhance awareness of security requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Communicate and implement minimum security requirements and policy standards.
- Participate in change advisory boards and dispensation processes.
- Manage incoming tickets and requests with precision and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in IT security with a strong grasp of frameworks like NIST/ISO. A certification such as CISSP is preferred.
- Deep understanding of IT security, infrastructure, application, and cloud technologies.
- A structured, detail-oriented approach, coupled with a "do-things-right" mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for supporting and helping others.
- Self-driven and proactive in building stakeholder relationships.
Location & Work Requirements:
- Location: Greater Copenhagen
- On-site presence is required at least two days per week.
- Start Date: 6th of January
- Duration: 7 months with the possibility of extension
